January started out full of fun and new experiences! I hit
San Francisco with the girls and traveled over the Golden
Gate Bridge for the first time! Here is the lovely picture from the
back seat as we drove over it. Although there are a million better
pictures from this trip, I like this one because it’s my POV
as if I’m actually reliving the moment again!
.
Not long after that, the pandemic hit hard. Here is my first
day wearing a mask. I thought it would be short-lived, so for a
while I took a daily pic to document wearing the very
unusual fashion necessity. It quickly lost its charm.

Let’s skip to October! I couldn’t live with myself if I didn’t
include something from my favorite time of this year. This year’s
Halloween party was a great success and full of happy memories. I’m
so glad I could experience everything before the rest of the year got
real for me. Soon after October ended, my moving process began.
This pic of my Poison Ivy costume seemed so devilish in
the red lights that it’s my favorite from that night.

See you later, not goodbye. I had to part with some best friends, so
I will forever cherish our final hurrah, captured in this photo.

Adios Kansas. I turned in the keys to the apartment and took this
final photo outside of my infamous #26 apartment. Apartment, I will not miss you.
.
When I joined my boyfriend in Michigan, we didn’t have a lot
to work with. Out first nights in our new apartment were rough. I
took this photo to document that time.
(Not pictured: Air mattress and crappy food 😉)

After getting settled into our new home, my boyfriend and I went
for a walk downtown to catch the Christmas lights and hopefully the
Christmas spirit. Here is a pic of our new life in our new state. I’m not
crying, are you crying? Okay fine, I’m crying. Here’s to the New Year! 🥂
May it be better for all of us!!!
